Building a scenario
Open the Crow's Nest Plan tab and click New scenario. A scenario has:
- A direction: long, short, or neutral. Your call.
- A trigger: the conditions that put it in play ("If ... and ..."), built from structured pieces like a level breaking, a naked VPOC repairing, or the first hour breaking.
- An invalidation: the conditions that take it off the table ("Out if ... or ...").
- Targets: the levels you are aiming at, shown with their distance from the current price.
- An optional note.
You assemble it from the app's structured conditions, not free text, which is what lets the app track it for you.
Arming and tracking
Click Arm and the app watches the scenario for the rest of the session. Its levels freeze at arm time, so the plan you armed is the plan you get. As the day trades, the scenario moves through its states, armed, active once it triggers, or invalidated or expired, and you can Disarm, Duplicate, Edit, or Delete it. It is a watch, not an order: CutlassEdge tells you where your plan stands, it does not act on it.
Outcome tracking
Turn on Outcome tracking and, when a scenario resolves, the app asks you one question: did you take it, skip it, or fade it? Your answer lands in your Notes and feeds the Session Debrief, so over time you can see how your plans played out, and how you actually acted on them. Anything you left unanswered from the day before waits for you at the top.
How to use it
The Battle Plan turns "if X happens, I think the day goes to Y" into something the app holds and tracks honestly. Write the plan before the move, arm it, and let the tracking, plus the outcome question, build a real record of your own decisions. The scenarios are yours; the app only watches and remembers.
