A factual comparison, not a knock on anyone. CutlassEdge is software only: you connect your own supported data feed, so this is the price of the app and nothing more.
Billing, in plain words.
Founder pricing. Subscribe during the launch window, the first 90 days after launch (through December 6, 2026), and your rate for the CutlassEdge base app stays locked at $59 per month or $590 per year, plus VAT, for as long as your subscription stays active, even if we raise prices later. The lock covers the base app only. Future add-ons and higher tiers are separate.
Billing terms. CutlassEdge is a subscription sold by Pirate Traders Inc.: $59 per month, or $590 per year, plus applicable tax. Your plan renews automatically at that price at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period, through the Stripe customer portal linked on our website, or by emailing support@cutlassedge.com, which is at least as easy as signing up. Cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge. Payment is processed by Stripe. New subscribers may request a full refund within 30 days of their first payment (first-time subscribers only, one per customer). See the Refund Policy. What your market data costs. CutlassEdge is software only; your data feed is separate and you pay the provider directly. Interactive Brokers: an IBKR account plus the CME Real-Time (NP,L2) market-data subscription, billed by IBKR; a brand-new account can take a few days to open and go active, so start early. Databento: usage-priced, and you need a plan with live access for streaming. CSV import and the built-in sample data are free.

The guarantee is the trial. Subscribe, use CutlassEdge for a full month, and if it is not for you, cancel within 30 days of your first payment for a full refund. First-time subscribers, one refund per customer. Your data feed is billed separately by your provider and is not covered.
Annual is $590, which works out to about $49 a month and saves $118 a year against paying monthly. Monthly is the flexible option if you want to see how the app fits your routine first. Both lock the founder rate if you start during the launch window, and the guarantee covers both.
Nothing changes for you if you subscribed during it. Your rate stays locked for as long as your subscription stays continuously active, even if we raise prices later. A Mac on macOS 11 or later, Apple Silicon or Intel, or a 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 PC. The app is under 100 MB installed. For the live read you need a supported feed; for study, CSV history or the sample data works offline. One license runs on two computers.
CutlassEdge is available in the United States, Canada (excluding Québec), the 27 countries of the European Union, Norway, Iceland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Taiwan and South Africa. If you are outside those regions, you will get the option to join the waitlist when you go to subscribe, and we will tell you the moment we reach yours. Québec is excluded for now because the French versions of our terms are still in progress, and we will open it when they are ready.
