VWAP
The Volume-Weighted Average Price is the day's volume-weighted mean, a widely watched reference for where the bulk of the day's business has transacted. Turn it on with Show VWAP. CutlassEdge draws it as one step mark per period (the newest one developing), not a smooth line, and you can add standard-deviation bands. In the multi view, each profile set can compute its own VWAP from its own window. The Read tab also carries a short line on where VWAP sits relative to the POC.
IB extension zones
After the first hour sets the initial balance, the extension zone (the cone) shades how far price has tended to extend beyond it, drawn from your loaded history. Turn it on with Show zones, then pick a Mode: Simple shows today's cone, and Complex adds the fuller picture (which end tends to break, how far, and how deep the pullbacks tend to run). Like the base rates, it is history, not a prediction.
CVD (Cumulative Volume Delta)
The CVD strip tracks the running difference between buying and selling volume through the day, a read on which side is leaning on the tape. Turn it on with Show CVD strip, and set its colors and height.
It needs a tick feed: tick data is required, and the strip draws once the chart carries buyer and seller data. That means a Databento connection (see Connect a data feed). On an Interactive Brokers bar feed the strip stays empty, because bars do not carry trade sides.
Balance map
The Balance map finds the multi-day balance areas the market has built, the ranges where it agreed on value, and reads where price sits inside the current one. Turn on Show the balance strip for the line under the header (the current bracket's range, where price is in it, its edge tests, and any unconfirmed shifts), and Show brackets on the chart to draw the areas themselves. Areas to show ranges from just the current one up to all of them.
The balance areas also appear in the Levels tab, feed their own set of base rates, and can drive the balance-map alerts (edge tests, failed looks, and acceptances) from the Alerts page.
A note on all of them
These are optional context, the same for every user, layered on top of the profile. Turn on what helps and leave the rest off. Anything with a historical rate behind it, like the IB cone or the balance-map stats, is past frequency shown with its sample, weighed the way Base rates and sample sizes describes.
That is the full Learn library. Fair winds.
