Free to download, subscription to activate. CutlassEdge asks for a license key on first launch. New here? Subscribe to get your key. Already subscribed? Your key is in your welcome email.
First-launch heads-up. If you download with Microsoft Edge and it flags the file, click the ... menu, then Keep, then Keep anyway. On Windows, SmartScreen may show "Windows protected your PC": click More info, then Run anyway. Neither is a virus warning; both show for any brand-new app.
Bring your own data feed. CutlassEdge does not include market data. You connect a supported data feed that you provide, and CutlassEdge reads it locally. Local first: your data and your charts stay on your computer and never touch our servers.

Data feeds

What connects to CutlassEdge.

Connect one of these. CutlassEdge reads it locally, and your data stays on your machine.

Interactive BrokersLive futures charts, profiles, TPO, and volume. Needs an IBKR account, IB Gateway or TWS running with the API enabled, and a CME market-data subscription.
DatabentoAdds the volume-delta and footprint tools, which read tick data with trade sides. Needs a Databento account, and your key stays on your machine.
CSV importLoad historical bars exported from any feed. No account needed, bars only.
Sample dataBuilt in and offline, so you can try the app with no account.

You run one live feed at a time, either Interactive Brokers or Databento.

What your market data costs. CutlassEdge is software only; your data feed is separate and you pay the provider directly. Interactive Brokers: an IBKR account plus the CME Real-Time (NP,L2) market-data subscription, billed by IBKR; a brand-new account can take a few days to open and go active, so start early. Databento: usage-priced, and you need a plan with live access for streaming. CSV import and the built-in sample data are free.
By installing CutlassEdge you agree to the End User License Agreement presented in the app. See also the Privacy Policy and Risk Disclosure. CutlassEdge is a product of Pirate Traders Inc. It is analysis software, not financial advice, and it does not place trades.
