Price alerts
In the Alerts section of the settings rail, type a price and click Add. When your live feed trades to that level, CutlassEdge fires once: a toast on screen, a sound, and a desktop notification if you have allowed them.
Each alert shows as armed until it triggers, then reads hit with the time. The re-arm button sets it live again, and the remove button clears it.
Reference-event alerts
Instead of a fixed price, you can subscribe to the app's own levels and be told the first time price trades one. Turn on Reference events, then choose the kinds you want:
- Naked VPOCs
- Poor highs and lows
- Single prints
- Gap fills
- Low volume nodes
- Weak references
- Session highs and lows
- Confluence clusters
- Prior levels
It fires once per level, the first time price trades it, across the levels the chart is generating (your held levels included). The most useful kinds are on by default; the rest you switch on as you want them.
Balance-map alerts
A second group watches the active balance area: its edges, a failed look (a poke past an edge that turns back inside), and an acceptance (value building outside the area). Same live-only rule.
How they reach you, and the Recent list
Alerts arrive as a toast and a sound, plus a desktop notification if you allow them (turning on Reference events asks your permission once). Fired reference events also collect in a Recent list, which you can Clear any time.
Two things to remember
- Live data only. Alerts fire on your live feed, so they do nothing on sample data or a loaded CSV.
- The app must be running. CutlassEdge watches the feed while it is open. It cannot alert you when it is closed.
